SAN JOSE, CA, April 11, 2024 - Good Human, a California organization dedicated to proving that business can be both sustainable and profitable, is excited to be celebrating an important milestone with its four-year anniversary of the Contingenci brand this April.
Established in 2020 as a response to the devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, Contingenci jumped into the market as a production site for reusable performance masks for athletes. In 2024, Contingenci transitioned into a new phase of growth through upcycling these end-of-life masks and other deadstock garments into innovative and durable products for the veterinary industry. This switch was a natural advancement for the company, as bringing energy-efficient and enhanced goods into a space that is in desperate need of them is what Contingenci is all about.
The purpose behind Contingenci has remained unchanged since its creation. Only now do we have a larger platform and greater reach to meet this goal. Contingenci’s mission is to create a carbon-negative future for the country, making us very proud to be recognized as the first carbon-neutral circular manufacturing facility in San Jose. This breakthrough wouldn’t have been made possible without the leadership of a female and minority-owned team, highlighting the true power that bringing voices from all backgrounds to the table holds in making a real difference.
